Hi everybody,
Sorry for the delay with the update here and with answering e-mails. I was putting on blinders and worked hard, and I am relieved to announce that the 3rd Breakfast has been fulfilled. The last parcels were sent today and should be with the customers in not more than 2 weeks.
Notes: I am aware of 2 UK customers that are waiting for a long time, and our parcels are generally slow ATM. Post Canada announces the following on their website: "COVID-19 latest updates We’re working hard to stay safe and deliver your mail and parcels. Check out our service updates below." This may affect delivery times, but I haven't had problems outside of the UK, so I am of good hope that works out well.
I have figured out how to safe unique parcel numbers for all recently sent parcels, so if you'd like yours, then I am happy to send that to you (please contact at [email protected]
On a personal note:
From contractors that somehow just stopped working and not telling me about it to a fully fledged worldwide pandemic, I think this project has seen problems that I couldn't expect.
I did feel and I am feeling fully responsible for each and every pledge and order we receive, but the constant delays, the quality issues and the general BS from certain contractors made it hard for me to keep you informed about the progress in a consistent manner.
Apologies for that.
Anyways - if you haven't received your parcel in 2-3 weeks, then feel free to reach out to us, we expect some after care, especially with the UK crowd!
If you receive your parcel and find any of the contents less than desirable, then please contact us at [email protected] and we will find a solution.
Lastly: I've mentioned it before, but I owe massive thanks to Gregg from Wyrmforge. Without them, the project would still be far from ready. They helped me out of the ditch that certain other folks were getting me into, and they did it with a smile. It ate all the profits, but I now have a most solid casting solution in place, and having experienced what I did, I can assure you that this is worth real money.

Fulfilment has started

We are now officially packing and sending 3BF parcels.
Starting with the big one's, I am about 30 parcels in already.
Things are still slow over here as I am having that attention hungry toddler around me (mummy is working in a hospital, so she is - unlike many others - not at home to help me balancing that madness a bit.

Hi everybody,
Production:
We did receive Matt's parcel a while ago, but the following codes were still missing: Halfmen Command 1, Halfmen Handgonnes 1, Halfmen Handgonnes 2, Halfling Pubfolk, Halfing Villagers, Seppi Male Halfling Thief. Matt promised to send us masters ASAP so that we can finish the production run here.
The masters aren't with us yet, and I haven't heard from Matt since I've spoken to him on the 22nd of December. Either way - he will send them with a fast carrier, and it'll take no more than 2 weeks to get the production done after they're finally with us.
Sending parcels:
If your pledge doesn't contain any of: Command 1, Halfmen Handgonnes 1, Halfmen Handgonnes 2, Halfling Pubfolk, Halfing Villagers, Seppi Male Halfling Thief, then I'd be more than happy to send your parcel right away - I can also offer you to send your pledge minus the above items and either / remunerate you for the money or send them when the rest of the minis are ready.
War Wagon:
We were prepping items and found that this item was subpar in terms of quality. Reocurring bubbles, massive baked in flash... Normally we'd just make a new mold of the master, but that master can't be found at DB moulds.
Curfew:
I am still waiting to hear back from Matt what the curfew situation is in the UK, and how that might've affected his parcel. Here in Canada we have a lockdown until the end of January it seems. This doesn't make much of a difference to me personally as our Kindergarten was suspended due to a Corona case, which means that my lovely toddler is hanging with me all day, which is challenging when it comes to doing work.
So, if you want your oder now (considering the above limitations) then please reach out to [email protected] and I will get that sorted as soon as I can go to the post office / organize a parcel pickup.

Dear backers,
This project will come to a conclusion shortly.
We were expecting to send things out end of October, but another - manageable - delay has hit us in form of a C19 infection of caster Matt's teacher wife.
Matt was happy for me to share his message, so here goes.
"Dear Kawe
A Covid update for you from this side of the pond.
Karen (my resin bunny) has been confirmed as having Covid so she is obviously off until she is better. She has been unwell for a few days, but reassures me that she is starting to feel better, though mostly exhausted. I am obviously not going to rush her back to work until she is fully fit.
Due to our close working conditions I also have to self-isolate for 14 days as per government guidelines. I am not allowed a test until/unless I start to show symptoms. As of today, touch wood, I feel fine so hopefully have dodged this one.
I appreciate that your backers have been waiting a long time for the fulfilment of this campaign and can only thank them for their patience while we get through this trying time.
Production wise we were on track to be pretty much finished by the end of this week. Obviously with us being shut down this isn’t going to happen, but assuming I don’t get ill we will be picking up production in about a fortnight, with about a week to run after that.
I will keep you posted on any further developments and thank you for your kind words which I have passed on to Karen.

Meadow Castings"
I was holding back with sharing this message until I've learned (yesterday) that Karen is definitely on the mend.
Personal note: There are 2 things about that project that deserve close scrutiny.
1. Delivery schedules. I obviously only make announcements based on the estimates I get. DB Casting have lost a many year long corporation with us because they were - to put it bluntly - telling me crap about where they were at. for more than half a year too. Backers know best what that means for the way a company is being looked at, and I accept that, as it's my responsibility since I was choosing to work with them in the first place.
Conclusion: Damage was done, but action was taken, and things did improve remarkably.
2. The future of WF on Kickstarter
Running late with a project is dragging me down on a very personal level, and yet, I was choosing to run WF full time instead of going back to a desk job, so I have to pull through. And I did. It pains me to say that we've finished 2 projects that were started after the 3rdBF, but I can safely say that this is thanks to some contractors being helpful beyond what I'd expect for money. Wyrmforge were working so darn hard that I involved them with the 3rdBF in the end, and guess what - they've finished their batch first.
Conclusion: Wyrmforge USA are life savers and I owe them - besides money - a good bit of confidence if it comes to the future of our production.
Last steps: I expect Matt to finish his batch shortly, and then - after I receive the minis - fulfilment starts without further delay.
Note: We now have Harabs, Halfknechts (w/o cavalry), and all the new minis (medium spears, adventurers, girls, etc), if your order had no classic half men, then please reach out - we can send your parcel right away.
2020, is an embarrassment for all the years that came before it.

Production Update

Hi everybody,
We now have everything but the Goat Cavalry and the war wagons, which will come in about 2 weeks according to Meadow Casting UK. Meanwhile in Montreal: The parcels are ready, the packing street has been set up, and It's now a matter of weeks until we - finally - send everything out.
I will make another update on the day we start packing (in about 2 weeks).
