Fulfilment Update
about 4 years ago – Wed, Feb 12, 2020 at 11:39:56 PM

Dear Backers,

Unfortunately, this project is running late. Please see below for the detailed reasons and the measures that we have taken to get this sorted ASAP.

The reasons for the delay:

  1. Delays with other projects: Earlier Kickstarters have now all been fulfilled, but we were running over 4 months late on the last one, which has had a knock-on effect, slowing down this project and keeping me from fully focusing on the 3rd BF, and providing an earlier update.
  2. Lots of variety: We’ve included all the Halfling related bits we’ve ever made, which requires many, many moulds to be made and in turn, slows down the pre-production remarkably.
  3. Needing to re-master miniatures: Some of the older Halfling minis had become worn and needed some TLC prior to being re-cast. They’ve all been fixed up, but again this has affected the existing schedule.
  4. The large number of pledges: over 300 backers is a big order for us and more than we were expecting in this case. We’re still a tiny company, one where an unexpected success can send ripples through the entire production pipeline. We hope that our attempts to provide personalised service, many options and attention to detail will make up for the few bumps along the way.

Measures that have been taken so far:

  • We’ve drafted shop caster Matt to help with this. He will start with sorting big level orders and Harabs. The first pledges will be shipped shortly.
  • We expect fulfilment to be complete in 10-12 weeks, but we will get a better picture when we get closer to the finishing line.
  • We will remunerate those that feel that the added fulfilment time would be a deal-breaker.
  • I imagine that there are a few people who wanted the minis for a tourney or their bro's birthday, and I would be willing to fast-track these, given that all other backers are ok with this.

Please contact us via [email protected] if you have questions.

Kind regards,

Kawe

Fulfilment update
over 4 years ago – Mon, Dec 16, 2019 at 09:39:59 PM

Hi everybody,

All masters have been prepared for mass production, and many production moulds are drying as we speak. The pre-order store and pledge manager have been closed, but you can keep changing your address until 2 weeks before we start to send the first parcel in February.

I will submit the final numbers to the casters tomorrow, which means we're on track. The only minor concern would be the very success of the project, and the resulting numbers of little men that are required for fulfilment. We usually start fulfilling only after all miniatures that are required for fulfilment are with us, but in this case we might indeed try to sort simple pledges as we receive minis.

Happy holidays!

Time to sort Backer Kit!
over 4 years ago – Wed, Sep 18, 2019 at 12:42:44 PM

I've uploaded the images of the half-women, the Hoplite and the remaining adventuress. That gyspy turned out quite glorious! I was adding them to Backer Kit, and hope we can finish the survey ASAP, in order to forward the actual order to the casters.

The girls are in!

Hi everybody,

Paul has sculpted a first set of 3 halfling adventurers, and they came out really nice! We have a little fighter, a feisty thief, sticking her tongue out, and - hooray for fantasy - a little mage.

I will add them together with all the other new bits and bops to the pledge manager.

As always - if you have questions or suggestions, then please write us an E-mail to [email protected]

Cheers!

New sculpts!
over 4 years ago – Wed, Sep 11, 2019 at 03:23:55 AM

Hi everybody,

Paul has just sent images of some of the new minis.

First of Militia Command

Did I post the spears already?

The Half Hoplite! Note - both arm with weapon and arm with shield are detached, so you can introduce some variety in your spear block if you like.

More soon!
