Production Update

Hi everybody,
Sorry that took a while, but I've had to make sure all stakeholders are where they need to be before releasing the new schedule.
The production run will be over with by the end of October. then the minis will be shipped from the casters at Wyrmfore and Meadow Casting to our HQ in Montreal. Then they will need pre-packing into sets, and finally they will be sent to the backers. So - fingers crossed - I'd say that the fulfilment will begin by late November, and you should receive your minis before the holidays.
Notes:
1. You can still ask for fast tracking your pledge if you like. Only a very few people needed them early, so it's not a massive financial loss to us (unless dozens of people ask or it at the same time!).
2. I might be able to convince our American and English friends to help with fulfilment which would help to speed up fulfilment even further, but I still need to figure out how that would work.
3. As there was a bit of a rumpus about tracking earlier - Canada Post labels include a unique parcel number, and a backer from brazil made me aware that he can use this number to track parcels as soon as they arrive in his country. So - if you wish - then you can reach out to [email protected] and request that we take a photo of that number for you before your parcel is being sent.

Production Update
Hi everybody,
Sorry for the late update. I had to address certain issues with one of our contractors that were resulting in the termination of their employment.
GIven the size of the 3rdBF project, we had 2 casters working on it, and they both provided me with estimates and progress updates. It however turns out that one of them was working very well and delivered everything, while the other one did not. This is all I really know and the rest would be speculation thanks to the incredibly bad communication of caster B.
Here is how we’re addressing this issue:
Another KS (that came after the 3rdBF!) has recently been fulfilled by a new casting company in the USA that we’ve started working with earlier this year. Visit Wyrmforge! Their work is excellent in all regards, and we were asking them if they’d be happy to pick up the shamefully neglected part of the 3BF KS.
They were, and they’re currently in the process of figuring out a solid schedule, but a very rough estimate was 6-8 weeks.
Again - one of the 2 original casters (MATT!) did a fine job, and the Halfknechts as well as the Harabs + the ogres are with us, so if that’s what’s in your pledge, then please reach out, and we send your parcel right away!
Personal note: I’d be lying if I’d say that something like the above story doesn’t get to me. It does, and big time so. But there are good and reliable souls out there, and I’d like to thank Wyrmforge once again for jumping into the gap that somebody else left open!
WF should be able to make a solid estimate within a week's time, and I will post an update once that’s done.

Fulfilment Update

Hi everybody,
First I want to thank you for your patience and remind you that you can get fast tracking for your pledge (just reach out to [email protected]).
As for the fulfilment status:
Royal Mail as well as Canada Post currently both experience massive delays. Not sure about RM, but Canada Post has no FedEx-style airplane fleet of it’s own and relies on commercial flights. On their website they're now talking about things starting to move faster again sometime soon tho.
In short - I am waiting for the 2nd miniature delivery still, but there’s no doubt that the Halfknechts and the Halfmen parcels arrive here eventually, which will then allow me to start with the actual fulilment.
I am not going to make any predictions right now, but I will post an update in the very moment the parcels from the production guys turn up.
Again - fast-tracking is possible!

Hi everybody,
After 20 days of coughing we're definitely better, but I think it's a matter of days until they shut down the island of Montreal.
We've also received parcels with miniatures in the meantime, namely all the ogres and all 'Harab' miniatures.
1. If you have an order with only ogres and or harabs, then reach out, we're happy to sort you right away, otherwise we will send your order when we fulfill the KS.
2. If your order includes ogres and / or harabs, and you'd like them right away, then that's possible too, but we'd need to ask for C$10 postage to get that done.
Anyway - here are the hands of our CEO sorting through ogres!

Hi everybody,
We're massively affected by a flu outbreak at Westfalia. We're not in the fatal risk bracket tho, so we just self-quarantined (we're now 1 week in and planning for 2 weeks).
I really have no idea how that current pandemic will affect the fulfilment of our current projects, but I am of good hope that services, such as post, will be maintained over the next few months.
I'll make another update when I either receive Halflings, or if I get new infos concerning the impact of that virus on production.
For now - stay safe, and visit the website of the World Health Organisation. So much better than WhatsApp.
